Flat Die Granulator: Designed for Small Factories, Energy-Saving, Durable, and Produces Well-Formed Granules
The flat die granulator is the preferred granulation equipment for small-scale organic fertilizer production lines, family farms, livestock farmers, and small-batch processing. It is a vertical extrusion molding machine, known for its extremely simple structure, low price, energy saving, durability, easy mobility, and quick learning curve, making it the best choice for low-cost investment.
The core structure of the flat die granulator consists of a frame, motor, reducer, main shaft, pressure roller, flat die plate, cutter, and discharge hopper. The core component, the flat die plate, is made of high-carbon alloy steel, with evenly distributed circular holes of 3.0-6.0mm in diameter on its surface. The pressure roller is made of wear-resistant alloy material and rotates tightly against the die plate. Under the action of centrifugal force and extrusion force, the material is forcibly extruded from the die holes to form cylindrical granules, which are then cut into uniform lengths by an adjustable-speed cutter.
The biggest advantages of the flat die granulator are: the die can be used on both sides, and can be flipped over to continue use after one side wears out, effectively doubling its lifespan; the pressure rollers use an oil-free bearing design, reducing maintenance frequency; the machine is small and lightweight, occupying less than 1.5 square meters, and can be driven by single-phase electricity, making it suitable for small-scale, scattered production.
