Essential Guide for Organic Fertilizer Plant Construction: Site Planning and Equipment Layout Techniques

The site planning and equipment layout of an organic fertilizer plant directly impact production efficiency, operating costs, and future expansion. New plant builders need to master three core techniques. First, determine the area based on the organic fertilizer production line's output: 1000-1500㎡ for 5000 tons per year, and 1500-2000㎡ for 10,000 tons per year. It's essential to divide the area into fermentation, production, raw material, finished product, and office areas. It's recommended to reserve space for future expansion in the fermentation area. Second, the equipment layout of the organic fertilizer production line should follow the principle of "smooth flow and reduced transportation": the fermentation area should be close to the raw material inlet, with crushing, mixing, granulation, drying, screening, and packaging arranged sequentially to shorten conveyor belt distances and reduce energy consumption and floor space. Finally, consider both environmental protection and safety: the fermentation area should be far from residential areas and equipped with deodorization and dust control facilities; the production area should have a hardened floor for easy cleaning; and sufficient space should be reserved between equipment for operation and maintenance. Reasonable site planning and scientific layout of organic fertilizer production line equipment can reduce construction costs, improve production efficiency, and lay a solid foundation for the long-term stable operation of organic fertilizer plants.
