Powder Fertilizer Packing Machine

Powder Fertilizer Packing Machine

Powder fertilizer packing machines are crucial equipment in the finished product packaging section of organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer production lines, transforming bulk powdered fertilizer into bagged goods. Connecting to the finished product silo and conveyor system above, and the sealing and palletizing processes below, it undertakes the core tasks of accurate measurement and rapid filling. Packaging speed and measurement accuracy directly impact a company’s shipping efficiency and product reputation. With its high degree of automation, adaptability to powder material characteristics, and stable operation, the powder fertilizer packing machine has become a core component of the fertilizer production line’s packaging section, significantly influencing the overall automation level and product commercialization.

Working Principle

Material flows from the finished product silo into the packing machine’s buffer hopper via a screw conveyor or gravity. After bagging, the feeding screw, under PLC control, rapidly feeds the material into the bag, with a weighing sensor detecting in real time. When approaching the target weight, it switches to slow feeding, stopping after precise replenishment. The bag clamp releases, and the full bag falls onto the conveyor belt to be sent to the sealing machine. The equipment can also be linked with a bag sewing machine and conveyor line to form a complete automated packaging process. Process parameters such as feeding speed, target weight, and fast/slow switching points can all be set on the touchscreen.

Process Advantages

Automatic metering and filling replaces manual weighing, improving efficiency and accuracy.

Sealed feeding reduces dust emissions, improving the packaging environment.

Fast/slow feeding ensures accurate metering and stable product net content.

Linked with sealing conveyors to form a continuous packaging production line.

Flexible parameter settings allow for quick switching between different packaging specifications.

How to Select a Model

The feeding method for selecting a powder fertilizer packing machine should be determined based on the material’s bulk density, flowability, and packaging specifications.

For lightweight, poorly flowable organic fertilizer powders, screw feeding is recommended; for heavy-density compound fertilizer powders, gravity feeding is preferable. Packaging speed requirements determine whether a single-scale or double-scale structure is needed; high-speed packaging lines should use dual-station models.

Regarding bag types, woven bags and paper bags require sewing machines, while plastic bags can be equipped with heat-sealing mechanisms.

For highly corrosive materials, stainless steel should be used for contact parts. The interface dimensions with upstream silos and downstream conveyors must be considered to ensure smooth material flow.
