BB Fertilizer Mixer
BB Fertilizer Mixer
The BB fertilizer mixer is widely used in the blended fertilizer industry due to its low particle breakage rate and high mixing uniformity. The equipment’s mixing mechanism is optimized, primarily using tumbling and convection to agitate the materials, minimizing shearing and compression. The smooth inner wall of the drum and the reasonable mixing gap ensure that the particles remain intact during mixing. The equipment has a simple and durable structure, is easy to maintain, and is suitable for long-term continuous batch production.
Working Principle
After the material enters the mixing drum, the main shaft drives the mixing arms to rotate at a moderate speed. The mixing arms push the material upwards along the drum wall to a certain height, where it naturally falls back under gravity, forming a circulating convection. The particles gradually become evenly distributed through repeated rising and falling and exchange. The mixing arms maintain an appropriate gap with the drum wall, preventing the particles from being crushed. Once the material is uniformly mixed, it is discharged from the discharge port.
Performance Characteristics
Extremely low particle breakage: Gentle stirring method, particle integrity rate can reach over 98%.
No segregation or stratification: Uniform particle distribution after mixing, minimal particle size segregation during unloading.
Wide volume range: Complete range of models and specifications, single batch processing capacity from hundreds of kilograms to several tons.
Economical energy consumption: Low spindle speed and low power consumption per unit output.
Easy cleaning: Simple cylinder structure with no dead corners, quick cleaning when changing formulas.
Maintenance Methods
Clean residual material inside the cylinder every shift and check the tightness of the stirring arms.
Check the gap between the stirring arms and the cylinder wall weekly; adjust if the gap is abnormal.
Check the reducer oil level and bearing lubrication monthly; replenish or replace grease.
Check the wear of the stirring arms quarterly; replace if severely worn.
During annual overhaul, inspect the spindle bearings and seals, replace worn parts, and thoroughly tighten all connections.
