The roller extrusion granulator is unique among many granulation equipment, and its unique equipment principle is the key to achieving efficient and high-quality granulation.

The core components of this granulator are a pair of rolling rolls that rotate in opposite directions. The surface of these rolling rolls is engraved with concave molds of different shapes and sizes, and the design of these concave molds directly determines the shape and size of the particles produced.

During operation, the pre processed materials are first transported to the feed inlet. The material uniformly falls into the gap between the two rollers under the push of gravity or feeding device. At this time, the two rollers are driven by the motor to rotate towards each other at the same linear velocity.

As the rolling mill rotates, the material is gradually brought into the smallest gap between the two rolls, which is the extrusion zone. In this area, the material is subjected to strong squeezing pressure from two rollers. This squeezing force is crucial as it can overcome the cohesive forces between material particles, allowing them to approach and tightly bond together.

Under the squeezing force, the material is pressed into the concave mold on the surface of the rolling mill. The shape of the concave mold is like a series of molds, in which the material is shaped into corresponding particle shapes. Due to the continuous rotation of the rolling mill, the material is continuously squeezed and formed, and extruded continuously from the other side of the rolling mill, forming a strip-shaped particle belt.

Subsequently, these strip-shaped particle bands will pass through a cutting device. The cutting device cuts the strip-shaped particle strip into uniformly sized particles according to the preset length. In this way, the transformation from material to particle is completed.

The principle of the roller extrusion granulator determines that it has many advantages. On the one hand, due to the direct extrusion molding, there is no need to add additional binders, which not only reduces production costs but also maximizes the retention of the original components and nutrients of the material. On the other hand, by replacing the rollers with different concave molds, various shapes and sizes of particles can be produced to meet the diverse needs of different users.

The roller extrusion granulator, with its unique equipment principle, plays an important role in many fields such as chemical engineering, fertilizers, and feed, providing strong support for industrial production and agricultural development.
