Drum granulator:

Drum granulator is one of the most commonly used granulation equipment in NPK fertilizer production. It uniformly mixes and granulates NPK raw materials through the principles of physical rolling and chemical bonding. The rotary drum granulator can process various raw materials and produce granular fertilizers with uniform particle size and moderate hardness, suitable for large-scale production.

Disc granulator:

The disc granulator rotates the disc, causing the material to roll in the disc. The formation of particles is promoted by adding water or a binder. This granulator is easy to operate and suitable for producing fertilizer granules with smaller particle size and more regular shape.

Squeezing granulator:

The extrusion granulator squeezes the material through the mold under high pressure to form the desired particle shape. This granulation method is suitable for producing fertilizer particles of specific shapes and sizes, such as cylindrical, spherical, etc. The energy consumption of the extrusion granulator is relatively high during the production process, but it can produce high-density and high-strength particles.

Spray drying granulator:

Spray drying granulator is suitable for granulation of liquid or slurry materials. Liquid materials are directly converted into particles through spray drying. This granulation method is suitable for materials that require rapid drying and can produce dry and uniform granular fertilizers.

Vibration fluidized bed granulator:

The vibrating fluidized bed granulator utilizes the principle of fluidized bed to suspend and granulate materials through vibration. This granulator can process materials with high viscosity and produce small particle fertilizers with good fluidity and stability.

Drum type granulator:

Drum granulator is similar to drum granulator, but its design and operation are different. It is usually used to produce larger particle size fertilizer granules, suitable for specific fertilizer formulas and production needs.

The choice of granulator in the NPK fertilizer production line mainly depends on the fertilizer formula, particle specifications, production scale, and cost-benefit analysis.
